Exchange and Returns Policy

General

We can only accept returns of new, complete products, without any damage or signs of use, within a maximum of 15 days.  We do not accept returns of custom parts.  If we receive returns that do not meet the above conditions, the customer will not be entitled to any refund and will be proposed to send that same return along with the next order.  If the customer refuses and wishes to recover the item, he will have to schedule a collection of the items at our premises and pay the corresponding charges.  To exercise your right of return, please contact our Customer Service with the order number, description or reference of the product you wish to return, address and date of collection.  This service is available Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 19:00, and it is not possible to set a specific time, only a date.

Cancellation of orders

You can only cancel an order if it is in a pending state, which means it has not yet been packaged and has not exited our deposit.  Please contact the customer support line for the cancellation of this order.  If you cancel a paid order, the refund will be made within 5 days.

Returns of orders / products

The return service is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and it is not possible to define a specific time, only a date.  Returns are free of charge if the reason for the return is MALDON's responsibility.  If the reason for the return is because you have changed your mind or an error has been made in placing the order, the cost of the return will be deducted from the amount of the refund.

Product exchanges

We can only make changes in new products, complete, without any kind of damage or signs of use.  To make an exchange, please contact the customer service line with the order number, description or reference of the product you wish to exchange, address and date of collection.  The exchange service is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00.  If for any reason the product cannot be exchanged, the value of the product will be refunded..

Methods and deadlines for reimbursment

Once we have verified and processed your return from our warehouse, the refund will be processed to the credit/debit card or account originally used for payment.  Refunds can take up to 10 business days to become available on your bank statement, depending on your bank.

Defective items

MALDON stands for high quality.  However, if any of our products are faulty, you have legal rights and responsibilities.  Please return the defective items.  In this way, if it is still available, we will exchange the defective item or, alternatively, we will refund the purchase and delivery price costs.  Please return the faulty items with the label we placed inside the order.

Link to the Website

You can link to our homepage, as long as you do so in a fair and legal way and do not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.  You may not, however, establish a link that suggests any form of association or partnership on our part that does not exist.  You may not link from any website that is not your property.  This website should not be framed in any other website, nor can a link be created to any part of it that is not the homepage of the website.  We reserve the right to withdraw the linking permission without notice.

MALDON has the absolute and exclusive right to, at any time and without prior notice, remove or change the Services and/or any page on this website.

Invalidity

If any part of the Terms and Conditions is unenforceable (including any provision that excludes our liability to you), the enforceability of any other part of the Terms and Conditions will not be affected, all other provisions remain in full force and effect.  To the extent possible, where no clause/subclause or part of a clause/subclause can be cut to make the remaining part valid, the clause shall be interpreted accordingly.  Alternatively, the Customer agrees that the clause shall be adjusted and interpreted in such a way that it resembles the original meaning of the clause/sub-Clause as permitted by law.

We use a complaints procedure to try to resolve conflicts that may arise: please let us know if you have any complaints or comments.

Disclaimer

If you violate these conditions and we do not take any action, we have the right to terminate your membership.

Law in Force and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of PORTUGAL and in case of any dispute or claim associated with these Terms and Conditions, the dispute or claim is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.

Integral Agreement

The above Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any and all prior and recent agreements between you and MALDON.  A waiver of any provision of the Terms and Conditions will only be effective if made in writing and signed by a director of MALDON.
